Summary: This was once one of the grand hotels of Florence. The Grand Dame of hotels. It is like a walk back in time. Sadly once you leave the beautiful lobby and the Bar area you can see that the hotel no longer has the 5 star quality. Things are not updated or kept up to par. The hotel needs an up date, the rooms need to be cleaned up, the turn down service needs to be updated, alot of things need to be updated. I could go on but i would rather focus on the front desk and the welcome crew who were amazing. The front desk very professional and very friendly and helpful. With a little update this could once again be a grand hotel

Summary: We loved everything about this hotel. They had world class service from morning to night. We had a wonderful introduction to the hotel and a personal escort to our room. The breakfast was lovely, with a nice selection of premium products, and a beautiful dining room with china. We highly recommend Hotel Bernini, it was the perfect hotel in a perfect location.

Summary: Overall, we had a great stay at Bernini Palace and really enjoyed the hotel. Unfortunately, our final interaction left a bad taste in our mouths. After we had already checked out and were getting into our Uber, the doorman ran outside yelling and pointing at us, then aggressively gestured for us to come back inside. I followed him in, only for the front desk to immediately confirm that everything was fine and we were free to leave. There was no apology or explanation afterward. I understand that misunderstandings happen, but the way it was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional, especially as the final impression of an otherwise excellent stay.
